I feel like the last week of my life has been littered with tissues, humidifiers, big green boogers, and lots of laundry. I really don't like it when Harrison is sick, and he gets sick about once a month. He doesn't get ear infection or antibiotic sick, just the kind of sick that you can't do anything about, the kind of sick that you have to sit and wait for it to pass. And he is so grumpy because he wants to play and play but then really doesn't feel good so he cries and cries. We are finally feeling better now, and eating things other than juice and Captain Crunch. So, goodbye cold, until next month...
Harrison has started saying the names of animals and the sounds they make. It's so cute. I took a little video but it's really shaky. Nick always says I am a terrible camera lady, because the picture is always bouncing all over. Ha Ha. Watch if you dare.

I know most of the pictures I post are of Harrison eating something, but he does the funniest stuff when he eats! He loves long noodles. He loves to slurp them up and don't cut them or you will hear about it. Such a funny kid.

This is his new favorite little spot to sit. If I open the fridge he gets right in there and plops down next to the pickles. I love him so much. He's my little buddy, and I don't know what I'd do without him.

My good friend Tawny posted a recipe for a yummy smoothie the other day. She said her little boy loved it so I thought I'd give it a try. Harrison drank it right up. It was just thick enough I couldn't put it in a cup with a lid, so a lot of it dribbled down the front of him. It was so cute I had to take a few pictures. Thanks Tawny, this recipe is a keeper.

So young, and he's already texting...:)

He loves to get in the garden and dig in the dirt. He's definitely a boy. My poor tulips are going to turn around and go back into the ground because he keeps stepping on them.

He can almost scoot around all by himself. You probably can't tell by the pictures, but he's peeled most of the stickers off of the 4-wheeler.

No matter how many times I straighten him out in the stroller, he always ends up cock-eyed. He looks mad in this picture, but we really had lot's of fun on our walk.

This zoo book is Harrison's new favorite book (thanks Lacey). He loves peek-a-boo books and this book has tons of little flaps for him to open. His favorite is the flap with the "frah" (that means frog). We are finally done with bottles thanks to this book. We read it before bed, along with many many others, then Harrison cuddles up in his blanket and says "zoo". Then we sing "We're going to the zoo", and I lay him down and he goes right to sleep. It's so nice. I almost forgot that only a few months ago our bed time routine consisted of crying and then cleaning up the throw up. I guess that's why you can have more kids, you forget all the annoying stuff once they grow out of it.

Last night we opened the door to feed the dog, and Nick said "look at your son". He had bolted for the stairs and was starting to climb down. He got down all 10 slivery stairs and then ran for the swing set. The kid loves to be outside...I don't know what I am going to do when he figures out how to open the door. (The pictures are a little blurry because Harrison won't hold still anymore.)
