Harrison has been loving to get drinks from the hose. Don't worry everyone, this hose is connected to the house water. When I water my flower beds he squeals "drink drink". He's not afraid to get wet. He sticks his whole face under the hose and just gulps. Of course he got his whole outfit soaked and the water was freezing but he loved it.

This hat is the first thing he wanted this morning. He is so funny. When I wake up it takes a minute for me to really wake up. Harrison is going 90 mph as soon as he wakes up. I don't know where he gets all that energy!

I would just like to publicly thank my wonderful husband for introducing Harrison to this lovely cap gun. Unfortunately, the easiest place for him to hold this gun is around the barrel because his little hands are so small. Therefore, he walks around the house pistol whipping everything including me and the dog. This helps so much when you are trying to teach "don't hit" and "be soft with the animals". Ha Ha Ha. My husband is a total gun lover and so I knew this was bound to happen one day :). I must say he is a pretty cute little cowboy.

We went to the doctor yesterday for a routine checkup and here are Harrison's stats:
Weight: 19 lbs 12 oz, 2 percentile (I don't think we'll ever make it to 20 lbs. I even fed him a huge lunch before and left his wet diaper on while we weighed him.)
Length: 78.5 cm, almost 31 inches, 41 percentile.
The doctor was very impressed with all the words he can say, and she says he's doing great.

A Very Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter weekend. On Saturday we went to the Kaysville City Easter Egg Hunt with some friends. As you can tell by some of the pictures, their little girl Emree loves the camera. I got great pictures of her, but Harrison is just to busy to smile, let alone look at the camera! There were so many people there but luckily they split the kids into age groups. We had to wait before they let us onto the field so Harrison kept shaking the fence yelling "ball ball ball". I guess he thought the eggs were balls, it was pretty cute. Once we got in there he didn't quite know what to do. I kept helping him put eggs into the bucket and he kept throwing them out. We had fun. Later that day we dyed Easter eggs with the same friends. It was quite an experience dying those eggs with two one year olds trying to dip their hands into the dye. The eggs turned out great (Nick was happy to eat the hard boiled eggs, even if they weren't pickled.) Sorry babe, I am sure that your mom saved some of her special pickled eggs just for you. Easter morning Harrison found that the Easter Bunny had come to see him. He got a basket full of candy and a little golf set, which I have no pictures of because Nick gave it to him three days early. Does that surprise any of the Gordons out there??? He likes to walk around the house carrying all three clubs that are as tall as he is. After church we went to my moms and had a little Easter egg hunt with the cousins and it was a beautiful day.

Harrison did reach a milestone this weekend (a very unpleasant milestone). He is getting his molars....OUCH! He had a little fever most of the weekend and was not feeling the greatest. In fact, on Sunday morning the only thing he could stand to eat was M&M's. Poor kiddo, maybe the sugar helped to take his mind off the pain. He's doing a little better now, and really has been a pretty good sport about the whole thing. Hopefully those babies will break through soon and we can move on.

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter.

Was it a beautiful day today or what? Harrison wore SHORTS!! I love the warm weather and I love spring time when all my little tulips start popping up. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures today. All of these that I'm posting are from a few days ago.

This last weekend we took a little trip to St. George to visit Nick's good friend. Harrison did so well in the car. I'd say it was probably the best road trip he's ever done. I was so proud of him, it was a long drive and he was such a good sport. It snowed the whole way down on Friday, but Saturday was a beautiful day. Harrison got to go golfing for the first time! It didn't work out so well. He wanted to get down on the green and run around, but if you let him down he'd just go try to grab all the balls. It was an interesting experience, but an experience nonetheless.

What can I say? The kid loves a good drink while riding in the car. Don't we all?

On Friday night we went to eat at Pirate Island Pizza. It was so fun. Everyone that works there dresses up like pirates and there is a little arcade (kind of like Chuck-E-Cheese but with a pirate theme). Harrison was so distracted with it all he wouldn't look at the camera, but at least I got a shot of him in his silly pirate hat.

This was a new box of sandwich bags. What can you do?

I found these cute little shades at The Children's Place for a couple of bucks and just had to get them. I am positive they will be broken in less than a week, but he looks so dang cute with them on.
