Disney World

Ok, so I am sick of blogging about this trip. Don't get me wrong, we had tons of fun and I loved being with my boys, it's just that so many things are going on that I could be blogging about and I still have to finish this stinking trip log, so then rather than just finish it and move on I don't post anything. Not today though....I am finishing this trip and moving on with my blogging life.

As you can see Pluto wasn't a big hit. Harrison was dying to see him and then when it was our turn he just covered his eyes and kept saying "no mommy". This was the first character we saw, so I think it was a little scary for him.It was a little cooler that day, we had to wear sweaters, but the weather could not have been better for walking around the park. It rained a little, but it's Florida, it always rains. One guy saw Harrison in his shorts and said, "Oh my that baby is going to get sick out in this weather." Nick and I just looked at each other and laughed. Nick said, " oh this is warm compared to where we came from." Sorry to say, Harrison did get sick. I don't think it was the weather. He pretty much touched about every surface in the park and licked his hands. No matter how hard I tried he would not keep his little hands out of his mouth. Yes, I did wash them and we used lots of hand sanitizer, but really nothing I did was going to help. I thought we were past the "exploring things with your mouth" phase.
This was on the teacups, which I can honestly say I don't know that I had ever been on that ride. I have been to both Disney World and Disney Land with my family when I was little and I don't ever remember riding this ride. I'm not much for the spin rides, but Harrison loved it.

I prepped him a little better for Mickey and Minnie. He seemed nervous but at least didn't start crying. It was so funny, the lady in line in front of us had two boys probably 5 and 7, and when it was there turn to go see Mickey both of her boys were like no way. She grabbed them both by the arm and said, "I did not fly you across the country to stand against the wall and cry, you better go say hi to Mickey." I had to chuckle because that was exactly how I felt with the whole Pluto experience. Luckily he did better with these two.
He loved walking through Minnie's house and checking out her fridge and kitchen.
This ride is pretty fun, but I thought it would be a little scary for Harrison. He loved it. He kept saying, "Daddy, Mommy, look a pirate." I don't even know how he knows what a pirate is, but every time he saw one or a skull he was totally fascinated.
I didn't actually buy these ears because 5 seconds after I took this picture he ripped them off and threw them on the floor. I decided they weren't worth $15. It's a cute picture though. The next day we went back to Sea World because we had a free pass, then we came home. Harrison was such a trooper and did really well. I am glad that we had the opportunity to go on vacation and spend time together. I love hanging out with my two boys, they make my life so much fun. I don't know what I'd do without them.

That's so funny Harrison was scared of Pluto! Jacen would've cried hysterically as well, so don't feel alone :) I'm so happy you had such a great time at Disney World.
