Florida Day 1

We were so lucky last month and got to go on a little family vacation to Florida. It was so much fun. I decided, for blogging purposes, to break the trip up into days so the post doesn't go on and on forever.

Our plane left at 7 am so we had to be at the airport at 5. Harrison was such a good sport and was surprisingly happy to be woken up at 5 am.

This was his first airplane ride and I was so nervous because I didn't know how he was going to react. He did amazing, thanks to lots of new toys and our portable DVD player. I am so proud of him. I love this picture of him with the little ear phones in.
We went to Sea World our first day there and let me tell you this kid LOVES Sea World. He gets so excited to see all the animals. Mickey Mouse, he could take him or leave him, but polar bears and penguins he could sit and watch all day. He was so excited to see the polar bear he kept saying, "Mommy lets go in there and wake up that polar bear!"

If you go to Sea World you have to feed the dolphins. It was totally worth it to watch Harrison feed them. I thought it he'd be a little nervous, but he just kept picking up fish and chucking them in the dolphins mouth. It was funny when we ran out of fish he kept saying, "mommy daddy need more fish, need more fish!" He loved it and is still talking about how he "fed a fish to a dolphin".
Luckily Shamu hadn't decided to go crazy yet, so we got to see the show, which is pretty cool and Harrison loves it.

They had this lovely rope net that Harrison decided he just had to climb. Nick also decided that since I am the smaller of the two of us that I should be the one to climb to the top with our two year old and then crawl through the maze of tunnels at the top to get down. Not the most fun thing to do while you are pregnant.
I don't know if you can tell in this picture but there is a huge walrus behind Harrison. Harrison was so excited he kept swimming right up to the window.
Harrison is the kind of kid that will not let himself fall asleep if he feels like he is going to miss something. By the end of the day he was so tired.
